Opening and closing
Starpoint opens its gates at 11:00 on Tuesday the 23rd of July, 2019. The guests of the festival must leave the venue at 15:00 on Saturday the 27th of July, 2019.
Pass validity
Weekly passes are valid between 11:00, 23rd July, 2019 and 15:00, 27th July, 2019. A day pass for a given day is valid until 14:00 on the following day. Passes cannot be transferred to other participants and cannot be returned.
Wristband
In order to enter the venue, everyone must wear a wristband! Within the security fences, we constantly check whether it is with you. Wristbands cannot be transferred to other participants. Damaged or lost wristbands cannot be changed or replaced.
Pets
Participants are not allowed to bring animals to the festival, except for participants who require the use of guide dogs.
Camping
Camping in the festival area is only possible in designated places and in accordance with given rules and restrictions.
Minors
By law, people under 18 can attend Starpoint only with the permission of their legal guardian, or if they are accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults are those who are over 18 years old and are participating Starpoint as well (e.g. an elder sibling, a friend, a teacher, their pastor, etc.)
If you are under 18, please download and fill out the required permission form and bring a signed copy with you to the event. If this document is missing, unfortunately we are not allowed to let you in to the event.
Smoking
Smoking is forbidden on the Böszörményi Street campus! Smoking is only allowed at designated places and only for those who are over the age of 18.
Alcohol and substance policy
As we are God’s creations, we should take responsibility of ourselves. During the festival – not only on the campus perimeter, but everywhere - participants are expected not to drink alcohol, nor use drugs and detrimental, psychotropic chemicals (including the excessive or non-prescribed use of medications).
Personal security
Using objects to threaten personal security and property (through the use of knives with a cutting edge longer than 8 cm, other sharp objects, flammable objects, firearms, etc.) is not allowed and will not be tolerated.
Medical service
During the event, first aid and medical services are available around the clock (0-24 hours every day). This medical care is provided at Starpoint in accordance with the current laws concerning this.
Programs
The goal of the festival is to take part in useful programs and thus gain lifelong personal experience. We encourage all of you to be an active participant in programs and be willing to adapt to programs whose schedule may have changed. Please do not disturb events and others with inappropriate behavior!
Program changes
We reserve the right to change programs as needed. Meetings and programs will still be held even in bad weather, except in the case when authorities decide to suspend them.
Parking
Entering the festival area with car is allowed only with permission. Parking cars with invalid permission will be towed at personal cost. Several parking places are provided for participants near the festival. We cannot take responsibility for vehicles parked here or for the valuables that participants may leave in them.
Order and cleanliness
We ask all participants to take care of the buildings and equipment that will be in use throughout the week. Please, notify us if something is not working correctly. Use everything properly during your time at Starpoint. Order and cleanliness at the festival is in our common interest, so everyone should take care of their property in this regard, too.
Respect
Show respect for one another: among different genders, different ages, different backgrounds, and in different roles at Starpoint. Take care of one another’s properties and do not use others’ things. Be attentive to your valuables. Limited storage for valuables is provided in the venue. Even outside the festival area, we should behave according to this mentality and set of values.
Media
By participating in Starpoint, participants agree to the publication of any photos, videos, and recordings taken of them during the event in a variety of media formats.
Information
During the festival you can turn to volunteers stationed at information desks with any questions and remarks. You can also get information about lost and found things here.
Other
We reserve the right to take away objects which are inappropriate for the festival’s mentality or could be used to disturb programs. We cannot take responsibility for financial risks and consequences of this.

*By breaking festival rules, participants could be sent home without any refund.
